This Spring, we're going to the movies!
We’ve chosen academy award nominees, winners and losers. This is the biggest category by far. The Academy Award for best original song from a move begain in 1934. We’re talking a full 90 years of great music. Check this list, so you can appreciate the enormity of this category.
The three of us are excited to hear what you guys can do with your assigned songs. Please keep in mind that we choose songs that you wouldn’t necessarily ,chose for yourself. We guarantee that you will grow as singers.
Our Sunday morning guest speaker is TBD.
Once you register, we will assign you a song, then you will pick one from a list that we’ll send you. This will give you a total of 2 songs to work on and perform at the Sunday afternoon concert.
There will also be an opportunity for you to sing with us on Saturday night, accompanied by Richie and Madeline. This is very informal, and can be anything you want to sing that we know, or that you have music to.
We've heard from our students and we understand the fear and anxiety many feel when faced with singing in front of a group. This workshop creates a safe place of community for attendees to experiment, receive guidance, and emotionally connect with their material.
