This November we’ve decided to have a TEACHER’S CHOICE Workshop.
Patti, Richie, and Maddie put their musical heads together, and came up with a GREAT LIST OF SONGS. Among the three of us, we have a combined 150 years of musical experience, and a repertoire to match
The three of us are excited to hear what you guys can do with your assigned songs. Please keep in mind that we choose things that you wouldn’t necessarily choose for yourself. We will guarantee that you will grow as singers.
Our Sunday morning guest speaker, will be Kerry Prep. He’s had a long inspiring career as a professor of theatre at Adelphi. He’s got a way of bringing out the MOST in lyrics. We always love having him.
Once you register, we will assign you a song, then you will pick one from a list that we’ll send you. This will give you a total of 2 songs to work on and perform at the Sunday afternoon concert.
There will also be an opportunity for you to sing with us on Saturday night, accompanied by Richie and Madeline. This is very informal, and can be anything you want to sing that we know, or that you have music to.
We've heard from our students and we understand the fear and anxiety many feel when faced with singing in front of a group. This workshop creates a safe place of community for attendees to experiment, receive guidance, and emotionally connect with their material.
